Thank goodness because this summer has been a doozy, hasn’t it? And, I don’t have to run around opening and closing my window coverings either. Plus, if I need to change anything, I can do it with a tap on my smartphone from anywhere! Now my free time is truly free, and I can enjoy a game of catch with my kids or a trip the the gym without feeling like I’m creating a bigger mountain of tasks.
I save energy and money.
Let’s face it: We all like to have a little extra cash in our wallets. Saving energy has a two-fold benefit. It’s good for the planet, and it’s good for your budget too! Home automation streamlines energy-efficiency. On my way out the door–or even at the office if I forget–I can turn off all my lights and adjust my thermostat setting with the touch of a button. My washer and dryer run when energy demand is at its lowest, and my window coverings adjust to help maintain a consistent, comfortable temperature. I’m amazed at the dramatic savings I’ve seen on my energy bills. As you know, this summer has been a hot one, and I can’t believe that my air conditioning hasn’t been running non-stop. It gives me peace of mind.
I’m a worrier. I can’t help it. It’s just part of my nature. I like to know that my home and my family are safe and secure. With home automation, it’s easier and more convenient than ever! No matter where I am–in the grocery store or across the country on a business trip–I can check on the status of my home. I can see if all my doors are locked, and a simple swipe will secure the one Joey forgot as he rushed out the door to basketball practice. If you ask me, I think a home automation system is better than a personal assistant because I’m always in control. While most things take care of themselves, I can make changes anytime without having to explain them to anyone. For instance, just the other day, I got stuck in a business meeting longer than I’d planned.
